Hi! My name’s Julia and I’m a destination wedding celebrant serving Greece, the Greek Islands and as far as your wedding dream takes you.
I was born in the U.K. but have been a nomad for most of my adult life and when I’m not in the U.K. I reside with my Greek husband and a lovely, spoilt, blind cat on the Greek island of Rhodes.
As a destination wedding celebrant in Greece, my particular speciality is weaving multi-cultural wedding traditions and rituals into your ceremony – with a twist! And I love a challenge!
If you’re anything like I was when I got married, you’ll have no idea there’s a choice for your wedding ceremony.
I opted for a non-religious, civil marriage ceremony at Athens town hall. And there’s not much to say about it really, except that there’s a broom propped up behind the office curtain in practically every photograph!
I trained to be a wedding celebrant in 2010. For me, being a wedding celebrant is a vocation: I love meeting new people, creating the story of their love and being able to provide such a personal and memorable service for my couples and their guests on such a happy occasion. I have met so many lovely couples and their families and friends; each and every one of them had an individual and moving story, and I’m proud and honoured to have been a part of one of the most important days of their lives.
